A couple days ago I got my Metabolic Profile completed at BLAST. It’s probably my favorite part of BLAST so far because it tells me exactly what I need to do each week to see the results I’m looking for. Our bodies are not one size fits all and neither is the way we should exercise. We all workout for different reasons and our bodies all process that energy differently. This is me.. just a regular girl 🙋🏻♀️ taking baby steps towards a healthier me…I was never into hardcore exercising, low intensity yoga was my jam. But after my debut class at BLAST, the definition of exercising changed in my book. Yoga 🧘♀️ is good, but what I needed was a high intensity workout plan to shed that extra few pounds of baby weight (still there 8 years post having a baby 🤷🏻♀️)! Not only did BLAST introduce me to this new world of fitness, but their metabolic profile was a game-changer. I now know my threshold, and, based on how I am feeling that day, can choose a low or high intensity workout. I wear a heart rate monitor while working out and the instructors help me stay within my intensity limits each day by monitoring my heart rate (which is displayed on the big central screen) … ain’t that cool 😎! I’m so thankful to BLAST for giving me my new happy place
